William D. Oliver is the Henry Ellis Warren (1894) Professor of EECS and Professor of Physics at MIT. He serves as Director of the MIT Center for Quantum Engineering, Associate Director of the Research Laboratory of Electronics, and leads the Engineering Quantum Systems Group. He developed the MIT xPro professional development courses for quantum technology. He serves on the US National Quantum Initiative Advisory Committee and is a Fellow of the AAAS, APS, and IEEE.
